Jamie Ransom's, a thirteen-year-old Cree boy, surprise turns to astonishment when he discovers the group he will be helping to escort through Canada's North includes Prince Andrew and his sister Princess Victoria, who are next in line for the British throne. Trouble starts when kidnappers strike and all the grown-ups in the group are taken hostage. Now, the stranded children find themselves on the run from bears, whitewater rapids and dastardly villains as they face the menacing northern landscape and battle their way back to civilization.
